W. Tracy Hankins, M.D.
After completing his plastic surgery residency in 1999, Dr. W. Tracy Hankins came to Lake Havasu City
where he has been in solo practice for the past eight years.
Dr. Hankins obtained his medical school training at Indiana University after graduating Magna Cum Laude
from Davidson College in North Carolina.
At Davidson, he was a Division I Academic All-American in soccer and he received
the highly regarded Edwards Scholarship for his senior year in medical school.
This scholarship is awarded to only four of the graduate students in the entire
Indiana University system each year. He was also elected to the AOA Honor Society
as a Junior, an honor given to less than 5% of the medical school class.
Dr. Hankins received board training at the Grand Rapids, Michigan program, which is one of the oldest
combined plastic surgery programs in the country. Because he worked closely with one of the premier
breast surgeons in the country while in Grand Rapids, he is extensively trained in breast surgery.
Focusing on cosmetic surgery in his residency,
Dr. Hankins is well versed in cutting-edge cosmetic surgery techniques.
Dr. Hankins’ philosophy is simple—treat each patient as if they were a member of his own family and
aim to provide not only great results but also great service.
